The British Army has been issuing over boots to its troops, that are deployed in extreme cold weather conditions for decades. These olive drab military over boots are designed to be slipped on over conventional combat boots, to prevent frostbite and give the solider maximum protection from the cold. The soles of the boots have a thermal padded layer on the inside and a simple rubber tread on the outsole. It is a proven design used in all Polar regions. O.D. Large one size fits most.
