Our super-tough military style para cord with Jute is an ideal choice for tiedowns, construction, survival, repair, camping and hiking. With a 5/32" thickness and a minimum tensile strength of 550 pounds, it has all the strength of standard seven strand 550 cord, plus the security of a eighth strand of jute. Jute is a natural fiber that when shredded and balled makes great kindling and combusts easily to start a fire. Each of the remaining seven inner strands has a 30 pound tensile strength, and can be used by itself for fishing line, gear repair, even shoe laces. 50 ft. Weighs .40 lbs.
